Product Description

  SA-328 is a thermoplastic solid acrylic resin primarily composed of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and n-butyl methacrylate (n-BMA) polymers. Solid acrylic resin SA-328's moderate molecular weight and spherical structure ensure smooth ink flow through screens and form a uniform film, while its high Tg provides hardness, gloss, and abrasion resistance, resulting in clear, durable prints. The addition of n-BMA balances flexibility and rigidity, enabling the printed layer to withstand shrinkage without cracking. Its low acid value enhances chemical and moisture resistance, supporting long-term durability, while its low viscosity improves processability and ease of formulation. These properties combine to provide the ink with strong adhesion, high clarity, and stable performance for high-quality shrink film packaging.

  Solventborne Solid Acrylic Resin SA-328 can also serve as the primary component of overcoats, imparting high gloss, clarity, and protective properties to clearcoats, making it an ideal choice for enhancing the aesthetics and performance of coatings.
